The Boys

As I glanced at my last blog post, I realized how much I needed to post an update on my little men.  Man oh Man are they changing.  Quinton is coming out of his shell and attempting to share all sorts of opinions and feelings with us - some adorable, some end him up in time out over and over again.
Shayden, well he is a big boy and he will be sure to tell you that.  He is feeling very grown up, super tall, super strong and ready to tackle whatever you give him.
A few pics to highlight our past 2 months.

Our first rocket - Nemo Rocket - was a huge success.  Good job Dad!

We are getting ready for summer, goggles, snorkel and fins have been used in every shower and bath since last month and I have to say Shayden's skills are improving.  Quinton, well he looks adorable but I'm not sure he uses them properly.

We had our first round of stitches 2 weeks ago.  Shayden fell out of bed in the middle of the night and hit his night stand.  After a few hours and 5 stitches we were back in bed and ready to go the next day.  The most amusing aspect of the whole thing was he was super pumped he did not have to have any band aids.

On to Spring...

We're Alive!

I feel as though we have been in a bit of a cave for the past few weeks.  As most of you know Shayden was pretty sick for a week or so there and we had a scare from the doctor regarding a scary disease they were worried about, but all has ended well and we think it was a severe reaction to his MMR Vaccine.  I won't even get started on that...
Needless to say, we are back in the land of the living!

Quinton is picking up a few more words.  He still prefers to grunt and motion to things which is frustrating and endearing at the same time.  Shayden seems to know almost everything he needs and between the two of us we figure him out most times.  :)  He is still the cutest little guy and melts my heart over and over each day.  He is just so tiny and sweet and ugh you just want to squeeze him!

Chris is still loving his new line of work and getting processes and procedures in place - something he is very good at.  His clients are very appreciative of a rep in their area that finally cares, Chris has had a lot of ground to cover from the previous sales guys that had his territory.

Me, well I feel as though I am in the bit of transition.  I am feeling more and more convicted to step things up a bit in the way of how our family eats and what we consume.  Not that I want to go overboard, but more and more I feel as though our 'easy eating' in this country is not going to pay off in the long run...and watching my kids get sick just slaps that in my face.  I'm still not sure what all that will mean, one step at a time, but I''m praying for direction and clarity.

So all that to say, we're back!
